What to look for when looking for a club

Are the Instructors CRB check and have they got a clean record.

All of our Instructors are checked and we have a full Life history on each person 

Make sure to ask if they have ever been involved with the police.

We will not use anyone who have ever been in trouble with the police

Remember you can always ask the police.

Would you want your child to be trained by some one who had been cautioned by the police for child violence!!!.

How long has the club been running

We are very proud to be in our 38th year as a Karate Club.

Is the venue clean and safe.

Our Venues are checked and have to be total clean for every session and checked for safety and security

Has the club got a good code of practice 

We have a very high code of practice which is closely followed all of the time.

Does it carry out risk assessments.

Risk assessments are carried out every training session and is constantly reviewed

Can you stay and watch your children

All parents are encouraged to stay and watch when ever they like the door is always open to Parents/Guardians

Are all insurances, memberships certificates up to date and available for viewing.

All of our Insurance, CRB, Instructor and Association membership certificates 

are always available for viewing every session.

We also have our Constitution, Code of Practice, Child protection policy 

and all Policies available every session.

We have nothing to hide!
